Can I pray anywhere? Answer please?

I'm a Muslim, in the Quran it says "the world has been made for me and my followers as a Masjid" so does that mean I can pray anywhere as long as it's clean and get the same reward as the people who are praying in a Mosque? Because One of my mates said that if you pray in a mosque you get rewarded more, but then again the world is made as a Masjid so that has to mean that I'm going to get thr same reward.
